Calidoscopio had the opportunity to produce the 2017 Spanish Paraplegia Congress, connecting healthcare professionals in Spain to advance knowledge and research, creating opportunities to learn, network and explore new ideas.
2017 was a very important year for our design, communication and event production agency. The Spinal Cord Injury Unit of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria hospital and the Spanish Paraplegia Society gave us the honor of organizing one of the most important national medical congresses in Spain.
During these days we had the opportunity to receive more than 242 attendees for 3 days in the beautiful city of Maspalomas on the island of Gran Canaria. 35 professionals belonging to the Spanish Society of Paraplegia SEP and the Spanish Association of Specialized Nursing Aselme shared their experiences and advances in a space for the promotion and advancement of research in the field.
This experience has allowed us to understand the state of communication around medical societies, which work very hard in academic and scientific development, but struggle to adequately communicate these advances. Kaleidoscope's contribution to this conference includes not only the planning, logistics, communication, management and development of the event; our goal is to offer new perspectives and possibilities to advance the capacity of dissemination and outreach of the knowledge shared here.
