A Platform Born from Challenge

Event Production

From our experience organizing national and regional events for medical societies across Spain, at Calidoscopio we’ve witnessed how the sector has rapidly evolved in recent years.
During the pandemic, the world of events was forced to stop: travel and gathering restrictions posed an unprecedented challenge for the scientific and medical community. But in the midst of this pause, we saw an opportunity. We committed to developing our own flexible and scalable event platform, which today allows us to offer both digital and in-person solutions, tailored to the current needs of the sector.

Designed for the Entire Medical Community

From the start, we had to rethink the experience from scratch, putting people at the center. We worked side by side with professionals to understand their expectations and constraints. We considered each of the profiles that make up our medical community: healthcare professionals, attendees, speakers, patients, and collaborators—such as brands, laboratories, and institutions—that make each event possible. That’s how we built a platform that responds to their needs, interests, and ways of participating.

A Fully Integrated Experience, Designed with Care

This is how we developed every detail: from promotion and registration to membership management and attendance tracking. We designed virtual spaces to mirror the real congress experience—including parallel session rooms for simultaneous talks, interactive tools for presentations, break areas for attendees to meet and connect, and a commercial zone to showcase brands, labs, and products.

A platform to enrich the experience of medical congresses

Today, Calidoscopio’s platform has evolved to complement the in-person experience with digital tools that enhance and streamline the organization of medical congresses. It includes:

The platform includes a fully integrated system for membership and registration management, along with a dynamic agenda that can be filtered by topic, date or speaker. It allows for the submission and evaluation of abstracts and scientific communications, and provides each user with a personal area to access their agenda, documents and session materials. Sessions can be attended live or viewed on demand, with built-in tools for participation such as Q&A, polls, surveys and word clouds. A dedicated networking space encourages interaction between speakers and attendees, while a content area offers access to institutional and scientific resources. Real-time communication channels keep all users informed and connected throughout the event.

Establishing a solid comunication platform and promotion strategy

We developed an intuitive digital platform to streamline event communication, facilitate attendee registration, and provide essential resources for speakers and participants. This user-friendly system supported promotional efforts through strategic online visibility, ensuring that the congress reached a broad and engaged audience.

Branding

For the 2026 National Congress on Paraplegia, our platform takes on the colors and visual identity developed specifically for Mallorca 2026. Following a collaborative branding process with the organizing committee, we jointly defined the logo, graphic elements, and overall aesthetic of the event. This allowed us to integrate Calidoscopio’s event platform seamlessly into the congress’s brand image, delivering a unified visual experience across digital spaces and communications.

A Platform That Adapts to Each Congress

This personalized adaptation goes beyond appearance: it reinforces the identity of the hosting society and enhances the connection between participants and the event.
Once again, we show that our platform not only delivers robust functionality, but also the flexibility to reflect the unique character of every medical society.
